Warner Bros. Recording Artist and North Carolina native, Deniro Farrar, just released a song/video titled, “Notice”, touching on the street harassment women endure on a daily basis. He’s one of my favorite spirits on earth so I had to show my support for his heartfelt lyrics supporting us.

Check out his new album, Rebirth, here.

And if you’re feeling it, check him out on tour in a city near you.

Support good music. Support good people <3

my ultimate goal is to be at peace with myself, eliminate toxic feelings and elements and energies from my life, unlearn negative and harmful practices and thought patterns, stop checking for people that don’t check for me, create a space for myself that is nurturing for growth so that i may generate loving energy for myself and for others, nourish my spirit and balance my energies, i have big dreams and i deserve to live a life i love and let that love radiate

Backing Biko Needs Your Support

Greetings,
My name is Cherno Biko! After “coming out” last year on my 22nd birthday as trans/intersex, I quit my job at PNC Bank and began traveling the nation on the #MrsBikoWorldTour building community and raising visibility for #FolksLikeUs. Much of this work has been unpaid, resulting in me being homeless before moving back in with my mother. In order to continue this great work and meet my most basic needs I’m asking for 230 of my family and friends to contribute $23 by the ends of my 23rd birthday. I hope you’ll join with me in #BackingBiko.

Remember that every penny counts but if you are unable to support monetarily please consider helping by:

Sharing this page with your networks and lists.
Uploading a photo or video using the hashtag #BackingBiko.
Hiring me to come speak or reffering me to other work.

Thank You

I love playing Brienne of Tarth because, when I was growing up, I didn’t really see people on television that I felt that I could identify with. Women all looked kind of a particular way, women characters that were popular, anyway. And when I had the opportunity to play this part, it made me explore the parts of myself I had hidden from. I had very long hair. I wanted to look very feminine, really tall. (x)
